Rani Roopmati Mahal
Rani Roopmati Mahal is a very famous palace which was built by Raja Bahadur for his beloved Rani Roopmati or it is an expression of his undying love. You can enjoy the view of Narmada River from Rani Roopmati Mahal or you can see the view of the entire Mandava from there. Rani Roopmati was a beautiful and famous singer from the Mandav region of Malwa. Her melodious voice or her beauty were talked about far and wide. One day when Sultan Baj Bahadur heard her singing, he was mesmerized by her voice or beauty. Started loving her. Baz Bahadur proposed to marry Rani Roopmati. But Roopmati, who was a worshiper of the Narmada River, placed a condition that she would marry only if she could see the Narmada River every day. Baz Bahadur accepted this condition and built a palace for Roopmati to have darshan of Narmada, which was situated in the direction of Narmada river. Jahaz Mahal
Jahaz Mahal is situated in Mandav near Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, which is a very famous palace, it is also known by the name of Ship Palace. Jahaz Mahal was built in the 15th century during the reign of Sultan Ghiyasuddin Khilji. The palace was named “Jahaz Mahal” because it is situated between two artificial lakes—Kapudia Talab and Munj Talab—and appears like a ship when seen from a distance. The structure and design of the palace give it the appearance of a ship floating in water. The palace is two-storeyed and has spacious verandahs, beautiful balconies, and intricately carved pillars. There are several reservoirs, baths, and fountains within the palace, which reflect the water management and aqueduct technology of its time. visiters can also enjoy the sunset view from here. shooting of films is also done in the palaces of mandav.
Jami Masjid
Jami Masjid is situated in Mandav in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, which is a very beautiful place and a historical place. Jami Masjid was built in the 15th century during the reign of Sultan Hoshang Shah. Its construction work began in 1405 and was completed in 1454 during the reign of Sultan Mahmud Khilji. The architecture of the mosque clearly shows the influence of Afghani and Indian architectural styles, making it a unique religious structure.
Hindola Mahal
Hindola Mahal is a historical palace located in Mandav, Madhya Pradesh. This palace is famous for its unique architecture, in which its walls appear inclined, making the palace appear to be swinging. “Hindola” means “swing,” and the palace got its name from this feature.visiters can explore the beauty of Mandav.
