According to the most recent information, direct flights between India and Cambodia will soon be accessible. These India-Cambodia Direct Flights will begin on June 16, marking a significant move intended to increase tourism and connectivity between the two countries.Through this project, which is being supported by Angkor Air in Cambodia, travel alternatives will be made easier for both people visiting India from Cambodia and people traveling from Cambodia to India.

Cambodia The national flag carrier of Cambodia, Angkor Air, has announced that direct flights between India and Cambodia will begin on June 16. These flights will connect Phnom Penh with New Delhi four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, if stories are to be believed.

Kuong Koy, the ambassador from Cambodia, mentioned this and expressed his happiness with the achievement, crediting it to the coordinated efforts of the leaders of both nations, especially the ministers of civil aviation. He called the project “a dream come true” and said that, considering Cambodia’s rich history of Hindu and Buddhist temples, enhanced connection will help promote tourism among its many other advantages.

It is anticipated that the launch of this new direct airline service will greatly increase traveler traffic between the two nations and make it simpler for people looking to visit India for medical tourism, as the country is well-known for its relatively inexpensive treatment rates.

Cambodia is known for its rich cultural legacy, which dates back to the early 12th century when the temple was initially devoted to the Hindu deity Vishnu. It is also home to Angkor Wat, which is recognized as the biggest religious complex in the world.

Citing the benefits of these direct flights on bilateral tourism, Seila Hul, undersecretary of state for the Ministry of Tourism in Cambodia, predicted a spike in Indian visitors to the country. The president of the Cambodian Tourism Association, Chhay Sivlin, echoed this idea and emphasized how similar Indian and Cambodian cultures are, especially with regard to Hinduism.

These direct flights between Phnom Penh and New Delhi, which are scheduled four times a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays), will provide convenient options for tourists wishing to see the dynamic cultures.
