Ayodhya: On Thursday, the office of Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that he would be visiting several temples in Tamil Nadu on weekends prior to Monday’s opening of the Ram Temple. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has announced that on January 20 and 21, Modi’s visit to Tamil Nadu temples will include Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Tiruchirappalli, Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple, and Kothandaramaswamy Temple in Dhanushkodi.

Modi's visit to Tamil NaduThe Prime Minister will take part in a program at the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, on January 20 at roughly 11 a.m., according to the announcement.

In this temple, the prime minister will also hear a number of academics recite passages from the Kamba Ramayanam.

“The Prime Minister will then travel to Rameswaram at approximately 2:00 PM and attend the Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple for darshan and puja,” the statement continued.
