Lord Ganesh is honoured in the Khajrana Ganesh Temple. The Maratha queen Ahilyabai Holkar established this temple in 1735 after retrieving the idol of the deity Ganesha from a well where it had been concealed to keep it safe from the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
